1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Volero ("the Service"), operated at https://volero.ai, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you are using the Service on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Account Terms

• You must be at least 16 years old to use Volero.
• You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials.
• You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.
• Each organization on Volero operates under a separate workspace. Organization administrators are responsible for managing member access and permissions.
• You must provide accurate and complete information when creating your account and keep it up to date.

3. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use Volero to:

• Violate any applicable laws, regulations, or third-party rights.
• Generate, store, or distribute content that is illegal, harmful, threatening, abusive, or otherwise objectionable.
• Attempt to bypass usage limits, spending caps, or other platform restrictions.
• Reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract source code from the Service.
• Interfere with or disrupt the Service, its servers, or connected networks.
• Use the Service to build a competing product or to resell access without written authorization.
• Automate access to the Service in a manner that exceeds reasonable use or circumvents rate limits.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

4. AI-Generated Content

Volero provides access to AI models from various third-party providers. You acknowledge and agree that:

• AI-generated responses may be inaccurate, incomplete, or misleading. You should independently verify any information before relying on it for important decisions.
• Volero does not guarantee the accuracy, reliability, or suitability of AI outputs for any particular purpose.
• You are solely responsible for how you use AI-generated content, including ensuring it complies with applicable laws and regulations.
• AI model availability and capabilities may change without notice as providers update their offerings.

5. Billing and Credits

• Volero uses a usage-based billing model. You pay for the AI tokens and features you consume.
• Subscription plans may include a platform fee billed monthly or annually in advance. Platform fees are non-refundable once the billing period has started.
• Usage charges are calculated based on actual consumption and billed according to your plan. Pricing details are available on our Pricing page.
• Organization administrators can set spending caps to control costs. Volero is not liable for charges incurred up to the configured cap.
• We reserve the right to modify pricing with at least 30 days' notice. Continued use after a price change constitutes acceptance.
• Prepaid credits, if offered, are non-refundable and may have an expiration date.

6. Your Content and Data

You retain ownership of all content you upload to or create through Volero, including documents, knowledge base entries, and conversation history. By using the Service, you grant Volero a limited license to process, store, and transmit your content solely to operate and provide the Service.

You are responsible for ensuring you have the right to upload and use any content you provide to Volero.

7. Intellectual Property

The Volero platform, including its design, code, features, and branding, is owned by Volero and protected by intellectual property laws. These terms do not grant you any rights to our trademarks, logos, or other brand elements. You may not copy, modify, or distribute any part of the Service without our written consent.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Volero and its officers, employees, and affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, or business opportunities, arising from your use of or inability to use the Service.

Our total cumulative liability to you for all claims relating to the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid to Volero in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

9. Termination

You may stop using Volero at any time. You can request account deletion by contacting [email protected].

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time for violation of these terms or for any other reason with reasonable notice, except in cases of serious violations where immediate action is necessary. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases and we may delete your data in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

10. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated terms on this page and updating the "Last updated" date. For significant changes, we may also notify you via email or an in-app notification. Your continued use of Volero after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.

11. Governing Law

These Terms of Service shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which Volero operates, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising from these terms or the Service shall be resolved through good-faith negotiation, and if unresolved, through binding arbitration or in the courts of the applicable jurisdiction.

12. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid, that provision will be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect.
